Meet Michelle’s Mavens: Michelle of Mash-Elle

Last time we saw this Floridian-by-way-of-Canada, she was rocking the black leather Michelle pump with an easy work outfit and breezy hair; a look every stylish woman should embrace on a regular basis. Michelle, creator of the style blog Mash-Elle, is back with our “most fitting pump”, coincidentally also named the Michelle, in a dramatic bordeaux hue–perfect for long, cool October days and nights. Michelle a decidedly fashion-focused spin on her look, pairing the bordeaux suede Michelle pump with an ivory mini-dress that mixes a mod, ’60s-inspired shape with ’70s bohemian lace. A black velvet choker necklace and deep wine-colored lipstick finish the look with ’90s flair. One thing we especially love about this outfit is how seasonless it is; for Sunbelt denizens like Michelle, this shoe and other dark accessories add an autumnal twist to the summery dress–while still embracing balmy weather. If, like us, you live in a cooler climate, simply add tights and a leather jacket to make your Michelle-inspired ensemble perfect for fall. Keep scrolling for more style inspiration from Michelle in her own words.

“I wore this look for girls’ night out. We celebrated my best friend’s birthday at a local club. It was Beyoncé night. Needless to say, there was a lot of dancing! I can always count on my Michell pumps to keep up with whatever the night holds.”

“Girls’ night out typically involves a potluck dinner, a pre-game lip-sync session to top 40 songs and then a night out on the town. We’re on our feet a lot, so comfort is key when it comes to footwear! I’ve been wearing my Michelle pumps a lot lately, and my feet are loving it!”
