The beautiful face behind our spring campaign is so much more than just a beautiful face.
Not only does model Monica Vaughan look striking in this spring’s campaign, but she also captures the Naturalizer spirit: smart, genuine and original. The Canadian native and New York resident stays busy around the clock as a top model, wine shop proprietress, sister, aunt, and all-around #girlboss.
When not standing in front of the camera, she’s often behind it, snapping photos on Instagram of rustic scenes in French wine country, where she discovers new grape and labels to fill her Greenwich Village store. Learn more about what makes this multi-faceted woman look and feel confident and balanced in our exclusive Q&A.

Diane Keaton. I love her laidback, masculine elegance.
What is your morning routine for skin & hair?
Skin: I rinse my face with cold water, apply Heaven on Main Street Calm & Clear face oil. (It’s model Taylor Foster’s skincare line.) I then apply minimal concealer if needed–and mascara, always.
Hair: I wash my hair every other day with Aveda and/or Aesop hair products.
What are the top 5 beauty products you cannot live without?
Bioderma Crealine H20 Makeup Remover, StriVectin Instant Retexturizing Scrub, Ducray Keracnyl Emergency Spot Treatment for blemishes, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, and Maybelline Full ‘n Soft Mascara.

What are your diet & nutrition rules to live by?
Drink lots of water. Everything in moderation, except water.
How do you like to relax & unwind when you’re not working?
I am learning to play the guitar. That helps me to just let go; to not think about anything else. It’s very relaxing.
What places & activities do you recommend for a friend visiting New York City for the first time?
Places/activities: The High Line. Lose yourself in the West Village, walk along the West Side Piers (from Tribeca down to Battery Park). I love being near the water, clearly.
Favorite restaurants: Il Buco on Bond Street, the Modern, La Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels wine bar, Diner in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Kindness, respectfulness, and trustworthiness.
What are your favorite fashion trends for spring 2017?
Extended silhouette trench coats (in baggy, flowing fabrics), banker stripes, and XXL handbags.
