Nothing complements Saturday morning gossip like the classic combination of Champagne and orange juice. Whether made for one or shared from a pitcher, the cocktail is synonymous with the good life. And it’s about to get better!
Enter the apple cider mimosa, a decidedly cozier version of the citrus-based original that encapsulates everything we love about the fall season. It’s warm, spicy and impossibly easy to make. And while no shoes were harmed in the making of the cocktail, shown below, we can’t help but think it would match perfectly with our of-the-moment fringed Fortunate bootie, crafted from Camelot suede with a stacked block heel.
We recently had the bartender at Saint Louis’s Cafe Osage whip this one up while enjoying brunch on their outdoor patio. She decorated our cider mimosa with a slice of apple plucked only moments before from a nearby tree. Take your tipple even further with a cinnamon rim for extra kick.
Stay tuned… Next Thursday, we are sharing the rest of our beautiful brunch at Cafe Osage! Love the mimosa? Try all our delicious cocktails, including the hot toddy and white Russian, the virgin bloody Mary, the green smoothie, the classic martini, and the Earth Day smoothie!
